Fortunately, it seems the community is <a href="http://codex.wordpress.org/Fundraising_and_Promotions" rel="nofollow">self-organizing</a>, and when the time comes, we might consider building better tools than a wiki to support those efforts. The first idea I had for this initiative seems to have ended up as the November <a href="http://codex.wordpress.org/Fundraising_and_Promotions/Wordsmith" rel="nofollow">project of the month</a>, and I think by then it will make sense to start moving this larger infrastructure venture forward. The logo mockup was just a random stab at something since Matt had been discussing the branding overhaul at the time... so it's pretty much a simple doodle!
