Yahoo! tastes del.icio.us

Yahoo! tastes del.icio.usIf you haven’t already heard, del.icio.us has been picked up by Yahoo!. Holy crap.

I’m totally stunned (honestly!), but this is definitely good news for Flock users.

  1. Actually, I’m not really totally stunned, and was predicting that Yahoo would buy del.icio.us. See my comments about this at http://blogs.imedia.mie.utoronto.ca/iml.

  2. I can’t help but think that this is actually BECAUSE of Flock. Yahoo saw the success of Flickr, and saw the new members from Flock joining, and said to themselves “If del.icio.us is standard on Flock, and Flock hits it big mainstream, we need a piece of that.” I’m actually pretty happy about this. I can’t wait to see how this pans out in the long run. I love it!
