I’ve gotten a lot of flack for putting Peter Rojas at the top of the list, but really, does he deserve to be anywhere else (at least right now)? I’m not sure he does. I’ve really enjoyed publishing the blog thus far, though, and even if interest were to completely decline, I’d still keep doing it, if only for myself.

I’m not really bustin’ your chops or anything. It was just amusing to see more lists — I appreciate that you do it for the “love of it” rather than to inflate anyone’s egos. Personal lists are much more interesting — especially when they show indie flair and taste, rather than just an echolalic acceptance of who everyone thinks is “it” in the blogodrome.

I know there’s a lot of listings of best blogs, but there’s no list (that I know of, anyway) that lists the best bloggers in the world. Now, despite what is claimed on the site, I’m not the ultimate authority on who the best bloggers in the world are — not by any stretch of the imagination — but I do enjoy doing the list. Ultimately, that’s the main reason I did it; because I’m a sucker for lists, and I’m a sucker for bloggers.
