It went pretty well actually — quite a bit of interest for something that started out with 4 folks. We ended up with maybe 25 people there — and the next day someone setup a Barcamp Etech!

Termie's HOWTO: Organize a DevHous seems relevant. I found it very well written, and spoke to my limited experience. Great opportunity for you all to give feedback, and build on what he wrote.
