Leopard runs, Windows open

What if, in OSX 10.5 (Leopard), you could run PC apps natively (Digg)? Without the need for Bootcamp. Yes, that indeed would be neat. I mean, I simply can’t wait to get reacquainted with Microsoft Access again!

Hah, it would be cool, but I really don’t have anything for windows that I would like to run. I mean really, what MS apps do you really want to run? If I could run windows apps, it wouldn’t do anything for me, “whooo hooo I can run Counter Strike: Source” and that’s about the extent of my happiness.

What I would really like to seen done, is for apple to develop some kind of app, for windows, that allows you to runall Mac apps in windows. I don’t really know how hard it would be, but hey, it would be awesome. That would be maybe 1 excuse to use Windows :)

A geek can always dream ;-)

Yeah, I guess the whole utility escapes me. I mean, it would be useful for web development — and maybe games — but there really aren’t any PC apps that I care to use.

[...] …don’t look now, but sooner or later you’ll be able to run Windows applications right from within your Intel Mac’s OS. At one point, this wasn’t exactly obvious. Fortunately, the independent market can respond faster than the stalwarts. Whether they’ll be cannibalized later on remains to be seen. No Tags [...]
