Chris,

very cool - thanks for sharing.

one kind of related point - your openid login box on the top of the site doesn't work - it gives a 404 error if you are on a posts page when you try to login.

Hi Chris,
it´s good to see that you are one of the early adopters who has implemented OpenID on his site and is not only talking about it ;-). And if this comment shows up after pressing the submit-button, it even works great :).
I would like to spread the word about this emerging technology further and have submitted your site to "<a href="http://openiddirectory.com" title="The OpenID Directory" rel="nofollow">The OpenID Directory</a>". I hope this is fine for you.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Yeah, and the great thing is that the other providers are (seemingly) playing nicely together. That's a huge step in a positive direction.

This (and possible other announcements soon) should definitely help encourage folks who previously dismissed OpenID to take it a bit more seriously.

Wow, this is the best news I've heard all week. I've been working on a client project where we have convinced them to use OpenID. Interestingly, one of their pushbacks was ensuring that it's not just "another silly standard that disappears as soon as we implement it". This should help with that :)
